At Sprout, we are continuously enhancing our products to ensure productivity and efficiency among its users. With our recently released update, we have placed new updates on the Project Tagging. Keep on reading below to know more!
Project Maintenance Page
We have added new columns on the Project Maintenance page under Administration Tools for easier use.
- Project Owner: Displays the name of the Admin/Manager who created the project.
- Date Created: Displays the date when the project was created.
- Updated By: Displays the name of the Admin/Manager who last updated/edited the project.
- Last Updated On: Displays the date when the last update was made.
Manage Assignees
To help you know if an employee is active or not, the Employment Status is displayed for better decision-making when assigning Employees to a project.
To help you narrow down the Employee list based on your search keywords, we now have the filter by first name, last name, or employee ID.
New Project Statuses
In our previous release, we only have Active and Inactive project statuses. We are now introducing new Project statuses: Not Started, In Progress, On Hold, Canceled, Completed, and Closed.
Moving forward those Projects that were already created with Active status will be replaced with In Progress, and the Inactive Status to On hold. You can also use the status to filter your Projects list.
- Not Started: The project is currently not being worked on by the project team yet. (default)
- In Progress: Work on the project is ongoing.
- Completed: Work on the project has finished, and all deliverables/tasks have been completed.
- On Hold: The project has not finished, and work on the project has been temporarily suspended.
- Canceled: The project has not finished, and work on the project will not continue.
- Closed: The planned work is completed, and organizational team resources are released.
Availability of Project Summary for Admins/Managers
Each project in the list should be clickable and should expand with its complete details. With this new enhancement, you may click anywhere on the row of the Project you want to view. A navigation drawer will pop up displaying the summary of the details.
