You might be asking why, despite the fact that your account's competencies are correctly set up, a prompt notifies you "There are no Competencies assigned to the position for the selected Employee," when viewing an employee's performance appraisal.
Below are the possible reasons and how to resolve the issue:
1. There are no competencies assigned to the Position of the Employee.
You need to double-check the competencies set up for the position of the employee. You can view this by going to System Setup > Content Customization > Position Configuration. Once done, try to view the performance appraisal again.
2. Or, on the profile of the Employee created, the position was missing initially which is what caused the Performance Appraisal to be created without the position competencies.
To check, you may view this by going to Manage Employees > Employee Data > Performance Appraisal Process.
To resolve this, the appraisal can be removed and reassigned for this employee individually under the same page with the same parameters. The existing process can be removed using the Delete icon and a new added using the Add Performance Appraisal icon.
