There are times that in a Department, you only want to allow 1 employee or a certain employee to have access to the Mobile App Clock In/Out Feature due to work demand such as the employee usually works outside office premises. Since the activation of the Clock In/Out Feature in Sprout Mobile is being processed per Department, enabling them would allow other users to do the same. Meaning, that if you opt to enable a Clock In/Out Feature for a certain employee, all employees under the same Department will be able to gain access to the feature. What should we do if only one employee is allowed to have access to the feature? If your company allows separating that employee to a new department, then you can create a new Department for that certain employee in order to enable the feature.
Please be advised that only the Department must be changed for this employee all other setups must still remain the same. Since you will be adding a new Department, please follow the ruling for adding a new Department. Here are some related articles:

When you're done adding the new Department, you can now assign it to the employee.

2. Go to the Work Information tab:
3. Select the new Department:
4. Then, SAVE your changes.
Once the new Department has been added, and you are able to assign the employee, you may send us a Change Request Form to process the enabling of the Clock In/Out Feature.
