What is Reports Logs in Sprout Payroll?

Background

There are times when users encounter errors when generating reports with more than 500 entries. This happens due to system timeouts or just an error during report generation related to unfinished transactions in our databases. With this, we have created the Reports Logs feature in Sprout Payroll.

What’s New?

Reports Logs is where all generated reports will be extracted from that module moving forward.

All YTD Report downloads will be available under Reports Logs for this enhancement.

In downloading the YTD Summary Report, once the user selects the Year and Pay Group and then clicks on Export to Excel, the user will be notified that the file is currently being generated.

YTD Export

Upon clicking the hyperlink click here to view, and the user will be routed to the Reports Logs page. On this page, the user will see all the reports being generated and those ready for download.

If the status is still tagged as Exporting, the download button is inactive. Only reports tagged as Ready can be downloaded.

Important Note: 

• When the feature is deployed, it will be enabled for all clients by default. There is no need to file a Change Request Form for this to be accessible. 

• This is available to all clients and roles with access to the YTD report.
