In Sprout HR we do have a feature where the logs from Biometric Device are being synced to the Attendance Management Report. With that, we do require a Biometric ID to be encoded when adding employees to the system.
Here are some items you need to remember when encoding Biometric ID in Sprout HR to avoid any errors:
- Only numbers are accepted
- Up to 10 digits only
- No special characters
- No space
- No duplicate Biometric ID
In addition, a Biometric ID Number is a required field to create an employee's profile even if you will not be using a Biometric Device for recording logs. This is due to an instance that you need to manually add the employee's logs in the system, Biometric ID is the identifier where to sync the logs you are uploading in the system
