You may be wondering why you cannot log in to Sprout Payroll and keep getting the error message 'The username and password combination you entered is incorrect' even if you are using your correct login credentials.
There is no need to worry!
As a reference, check over the items listed below for logging in to your Sprout Payroll account.
1. Make sure you're using the correct URL.
* Remember that the URL is the same across all clients, that is https://payroll.sprout.ph, except for SSO (Single Sign On) enabled clients.
* For SSO (Single Sign On) clients, you are given your own URL with the format (domain name-payroll.sprout.ph). To quickly discuss what SSO is, you may check this article: Single Sign-On Mode (SSO): Overview
2. The Company Code is a requirement when filling out the username field.
* The Company code is usually 5-digit alpha numeric characters before the slash in your username. Example, che07\admin - che07 is the company code.
3. The default username upon payroll account creation is ADMIN.
4. If you are using a different Username when logging in, you can verify it with the other super admin/s in your payroll account.
* The list of admins in Payroll can be found under Users tab.
5. You can also email us at experts@sprout.ph to validate the existing users.
6. Double-check if the password you've entered is correct.
* If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by following the instructions in the Knowledge-Base article.
Note: If your account gets locked, please coordinate with the existing Super Admins in your payroll account, so they can unlock it and you may proceed to reset the password.
We hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out to us at experts@sprout.ph for questions.
