Whenever a filed Leave Application is approved, an email notification is sent to the employee. With Sprout HR, the content of this email can be customized the way you want it to be. To customize the Email Template, follow the simple steps below:
1. Under the Maintenance tab, select Email Templates from the drop-down list that appears.
2. Select Leave and Leave Approved on the first and second row of headers, respectively.
3. Notice that there is a default email template for Leave Approved. If you want to change it, simply select all then delete.
4. Compose your desired email notification for approved leave applications to be sent to the employees who filed such leaves. You are free to apply any format that you want. Also, in any part of your email, you may insert fields which will display the actual details of the filed and approved leave application. To do so, click on the drop-down, select from the list of fields, then click Insert.
5. Once you are done composing and formatting your template for approved leave application notification, click the Save button.
