One of the things managers and administrators would most often change on their employees' Sprout profiles is their Employment Status. From tagging employees as probationary to regular to maternity, or to resigned/terminated, the Employment Status is a crucial field that triggers other actions on a certain employees' Sprout HR account, and just as well as on Sprout Payroll. Let's look at how this can be configured on the Employee Profile:
1. On the employee profile, click the Work Information tab.
2. Select the status on the Employment Status dropdown.
3. If you're separating or terminating the profile, set a separation date.
4. Click the Save button.
