Security is the top priority of Sprout Payroll. To further strengthen our login security, we've added CAPTCHA and account lockout to help prevent brute-force attacks.
CAPTCHA will now appear after three failed login attempts. Accounts can be unlocked by the administrator by sending a reset password link to the user.
The account will be locked after five (5) failed login attempts.
Your account can be unlocked by your Administrator by sending a reset password link to the locked user.
The locked user will receive an email, make sure that the link to be click is the recent one once you have already requested a reset password previously.
Once you click on the link sent to your email, you'll be routed to the reset your password page.
Once you have successfully changed your password, it will prompt on your screen.
