In a separate article, we have learned to create offset holidays on Sprout HR. But how do we create an offset double holiday? Let's take a look at the steps below.
1. Go to the Admin Dashboard of your company's Sprout HR. From there, click on the Maintenance tab and select Company from the drop-down list that appears.
2. On the Company page, click on the Holidays tab on the upper portion of the screen.
3. Click on Settings. Delete the holiday in question by clicking on the trash can icon on the right of the holiday.
4. Afterward, click on the plus icon on the upper right-hand portion of the page. Add a holiday with the same name as that which you have just deleted, and then change the date to the offset date.
5. Go back to the Holidays page and make sure that the checkbox beside the new holiday you just created is ticked.
6. Under Custom Holidays, click on the plus sign icon and add the second holiday for the concerned date. Click the Save button.
7. Make sure that the checkbox beside the second holiday is ticked.
8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Save button.
The steps given above would only work, however, if the company only has one leave policy. However, if your company has multiple leave policies, then on step number 3, instead of deleting the holiday, you can simply create a new one with the same name (just add the word "offset") but using the intended offset date.
Afterwards, proceed to the leave plan you wish to edit, and then uncheck the original holiday, and tick the checkbox for the offset holiday. You can then proceed to create the second custom holiday as described above.
