On Sprout Insight, you may now be able to apply different filters on the Headcount Dashboard in order to generate different types of data. Have you ever wondered how this can be done? Let's take a look at the steps below:
Headcount per Department
- In the Filters section, select one or more departments under Department.
- Click on the eraser icon above the Department filter to reset the data back to default
Note: To select multiple values in the Filters, hold the Control (CTRL) key then click on the desired values
Headcount per Department per Employment Status

In the Filters section, select one or more values from the Department field followed by the Employment Status field
- Click on the eraser icon above the Department and Employment Status fields to reset the data back to default
Note: To select multiple values in the Filters, hold the Control (CTRL) key then click on the desired values
Headcount per Employment Status
- In the Total Active Employee tile, click on one or more desired Employment Status
- Re-click on the Total Active Employee tile to reset back the data to default
- Hover the mouse to any value in the tile to see the actual and complete data.
Note: To select multiple values, hold the Control (CTRL) key then click on the desired values.
Headcount of New Hires per Month
- In the Hired Employees tile, click on one or more of the desired month. (Note: Available data is from previous year until the current month)
- Re-click on the Hired Employees tile to reset back the data to default
- Hover the mouse to any value in the tile to see the actual and complete data.
Note: To select multiple values, hold the Control (CTRL) key then click on the desired values.
Headcount of New Hires or Leavers per Department per Year
- In the Hired Employees tile, click on one or more of the desired Department and Year. You may refer to the legend for the status color coding
- Re-click on the Hired Employees tile to reset back the data to default

Hover the mouse to any value in the Tile to see the actual and complete data
