Assets are company-owned resources that are provided to the employee in order to complete their work during their stay in the company. These resources (laptops, mobile phones, desktop computers, etc) can be added to their Employee Profile to keep track of the devices assigned to them.
1. Go to the Employee Profile of the employee.
2. Scroll down to the Assets tab and then click Add Asset.
In the Category column, you'll be able to see the assets that you have previously added. (How to Add Assets on Sprout HR)
Note: You may also be able to add multiple assets, just click the Add Asset button again.
3. Once you have completed the necessary details, click the Save button at the bottom of the page.
And that's about it! You have successfully added an asset to the Employee Profile! Pretty simple, right?
