Every time changes are made on Sprout Payroll, the system can track these changes made by a particular user. This is called the Audit trail. What changes made are covered by the Audit trail? Let's learn more about this useful feature.
Under the Setup tab on the Navigation toolbar on Sprout Payroll, select Company from the drop-down list and click on Profile. Scroll down the page, and you can click on the Audit trail button at the bottom of the page.
Under the Setup tab, Select Company from the drop-down list and select Departments. On the rightmost column on the page, click on the Audit trail to view the latest changes made.
Under the Setup tab, Select Company from the drop-down list and select Cost Centers. On the rightmost column on the page, click on the Audit trail to view the latest changes made.
Under the Setup tab, Select Company from the drop-down list and select Employees Tab. On the rightmost column on the page, click on the Audit trail to view the latest changes made.
Click on the Employee Profile. On the rightmost column on the page, click on the Audit trail to view the latest changes made.
There are other changes that will fall under the User’s activities.
This includes:
- Deleted payrolls
- Generating and sending of payslip
- Changes in OT tables
