The cancellation of the Certificate of Attendance by one's immediate manager prompts the system to send an email notification to the employee concerned. As with most things on Sprout HR, The content of this email is customizable. The steps below illustrate how this can be done:
1. Under the Maintenance tab, choose Email Templates from the drop down list that appears.
2. Select COA and COA Cancel - Admin tab on the first and second row of headers, respectively.
3. Compose your desired email notification for canceled COA applications to be sent to employees who filed the COA. As always, any format you wish to apply to this email template can be done according to your wishes. You may also insert fields which will display the actual details of the canceled COA application. To do so, click on the drop down list, select from the list of fields, and click Insert.
4. Once you are done customizing your email notification template for canceled COA application, click on the Save button.
Once the new template has been saved, the notifications received by the employees for their canceled COA applications will look exactly how you intended them to be:
