In almost every company, employees are entitled to a specific number of leaves usually depending on what was stipulated on their employment contract. The most common types of leaves offered are sick and vacation leaves.
Sick leaves are granted on the account of sickness or disability of the employee, while vacation leaves are granted for personal reasons. With this in mind, one might ask, is it possible to file two leaves applications on the same day--one for the first half and the other for the second?
As of the moment, Sprout does not permit a user to file for two leave applications on the same day. It is generally expected that if an employee files for a vacation or sick leave for one half of the day, he should be able to come to work for the other half.
In the very rare instance that an employee needs to file 0.5 vacation leave for one half of the day and 0.5 sick leave for the other half, simply add biometric logs for one half and manually deduct 0.5 sick leave credits via the employee profile.
