In Sprout HR, you can set up the approval level based on your company’s hierarchy. In any case that you wish to assign an employee to a different next level approver - you can manually add different next level approver to employees via Approval levels. Just follow the steps below:
1. On the Navigation toolbar, click on the Maintenance tab and select company from the drop-down that appears.
2. If you have more than one company in your account setup, make sure to select the correct one from the search bar on the upper portion of the page. You will be redirected to the Approval Levels Page.
3. On the same page, select Manage by Employee. Click the name of the employee or search the name of the employee that you wish to manage the next level approver by hitting the (+) icon beside Add employee.
4 From the drop-down, select the specific employee. Then search the next approver from the drop-down that appears.
5. Finally, hit save
