Finally! BIR has now cleared our minds of all the questions we have regarding the RMC 50-2018: Item #7 Treatment for the Premium on Health Card paid by the employer for rank and file employees, as well as for those holding managerial and supervisory function.
In the recent release of BIR’s RMC 96-2018, it specifies deletion of Item #7 from RMC 50-2018. Therefore, we do not have to worry about how we will include Health Care Premiums in the PHP 90,000 threshold for this year’s annualization.
