We’ve standardized our syncing! As part of security measure and to improve accuracy in Sprout Payroll, we are going to have additional validation criteria in Import Attendance. These are the validations we currently have:
Before: One (1) validation criteria only (Payroll Pie ID)
- Checking for Payrollpie ID with zero values
Now:
- 3 validation criteria (Payroll Pie ID, TIN, and, Date of Birth)
- Checking for Payrollpie ID with zero values
With this, we can prevent the import of attendance for those who have incorrect Payroll Pie IDs assigned to them (e.g. 11 instead of 111, 2 employees with similar Payroll Pie IDs, etc). As we all know, correct attendance is equivalent to accurate payroll computation.
Additional Tip for checking: These three items are the current validations used in posting of payslips in Sprout HR. Therefore, for employees who can currently view their payslips in Sprout HR; TIN, payroll pie ID, and birth date are already matched.
Please ensure that all these three employee information match each employee profile in both modules (HR and Payroll) for smooth payroll processing.
