Hi there! We're sharing you the latest updates on Sprout Payroll this love month.
New Sprout Payroll URL
Sprout Payroll has a new home! As part of Sprout's system improvement, we have migrated to a new link, payroll.sprout.ph. Kindly use this starting today.
You may still use the old link, app.payrollpie.com, but doing so will automatically redirect you to the new site.
Monthly Summary Report Enhancement
On Sprout Payroll, the compilation of all payroll summaries within a month can be accessed by downloading the Monthly Summary Report. Before this coming release, it shows multiple rows per employee depending on the number of payroll runs he or she was included in for that month.
Let's say you have two payroll runs for the month of January.
When the Monthly Summary Report is generated, it looks like this:
With the February 12 release, we have simplified this to improve your experience.
The report will show only one row per employee. This will contain all the consolidated values from all payroll summaries the employee is included in within a month to save you from creating formulas in Excel.
After the release, the Monthly Summary Report will look like this:

Credentials for New Sprout Payroll Users
In compliance with the Data Privacy Act, new users of Sprout Payroll will receive an email with their login credentials moving forward. Currently, when creating a new user access in Sprout Payroll, the administrator needs to set a default password to be given to the new user.
After the release, once a new user has been added , he or she will automatically receive an email with the credentials and a link to set his or her own password. This will ensure the security of the password and integrity of the owner of the access as part of DPA compliance.
