Introduction
This product manual aims to provide step-by-step instructions to users who will access their Sprout Concierge (Serge) chatbot.
About Sprout Concierge
Sprout Concierge (Serge) is a generative AI chatbot that answers employee inquiries related to internal company documents specific to an organization (e.g. employee handbook, company profile, culture, policies, processes, training materials). Think ChatGPT, but trained to assist employees regarding their organization’s business rules.
Prerequisites
- Single Sign-On (SSO) mode enabled for Sprout HR Web
- Sprout HR Web or Mobile app
- Web browser
Accessing Sprout Concierge
Web
Sprout HR Dashboard
- Go to Sprout HR Hub.
- Enter your email and password.
- Click Log In.
- Enter the OTP code.
- Click Verify.
- Click the bot icon on the lower right corner.
- Click My company-related inquiries. You will be redirected to the bot assigned to your company.
Note: If you’re a super admin handling multiple companies, you will only be able to view and access the bot of the company you’re assigned to within Sprout HR.
- You will see the privacy notice if you’re a first time user. Click Agree.
Sprout Concierge Website
- Go to Sprout Concierge.
- Enter your company name (based on your Sprout HR Hub URL).
- Click Continue.
- Enter your email and password.
- Click Log In. You will be redirected to the bot.
- You will see the privacy notice if you’re a first time user. Click Agree.
Mobile
- Enter your username or email
- Enter your password.
- Tap Login.
- Tap the bot icon on the lower right corner.
- Tap My company-related inquiries. You will be redirected to the privacy notice if you’re a first time user.
- Scroll down and read through the privacy notice.
- Tap Agree & Continue.
Chatting with Sprout Concierge
Web
- Click on the “Hello” button or type a question to get started.
- Click on the send icon or press Enter to send a query. The bot will respond based on the persona you set and the files you uploaded.
Mobile
- Type a question to get started.
- Tap on the send icon or press Enter to send a query. The bot will respond based on the persona you set and the files you uploaded.
Leaving Feedback
For the bot to become more accurate and reliable in the future, leaving feedback on its answers is highly encouraged!
Web
Answer Feedback
- Click the thumbs up ( 👍 ) or thumbs down ( 👎 ) button on the answer.
- Select your quick feedback.
- Enter more details (Optional).
- Click Submit Feedback.
General Feedback
- Click Share your opinion on the top banner.
- Select your rating.
- Select your quick feedback.
- Enter more details (Optional).
- Click Submit Feedback.
Mobile
- Tap the thumbs up ( 👍 ) or thumbs down ( 👎 ) button on the answer.
- Select your quick feedback.
- Enter more details (Optional).
- Tap Submit Feedback.
Clearing Conversation History
Note: Conversation history is retained by default.
Web
- Click Clear Conversation on the upper right corner.
- A confirmation modal will be displayed. Click Clear.
Mobile
Note: Conversation history is removed upon leaving the chat session.
- Tap the exit icon ( X ).
- A confirmation modal will be displayed. Tap End Anyway.
