ATC Code stands for Alphanumeric Tax Code. It is a unique code assigned to specific types of tax transactions. The ATC code helps taxpayers correctly classify their tax payments, whether for income tax, value-added tax (VAT), percentage tax, withholding tax, or other tax obligations.
Each ATC code corresponds to a specific tax type and form. For example:
- IC010 – Income Tax (Individuals)
- WC010 – Withholding Tax (Compensation)
- VT010 – Value-Added Tax (VAT)
- PT010 – Percentage Tax
You can find the ATC codes in BIR 2307 form which you can download directly from BIR Website.
However, for synced accounts, there's no available option to add the ATC code in Sprout HR. In the meantime, one of the account's Payroll admins may send a Change Request Form to include the ATC code in Sprout Paroll Employee Profile. These are the necessary details in your request:
- Employee ID number
- ATC code.
It is important to note that the absence of ATC code in Sprout Payroll Profile may cause blank 2307 report.
