Users can now file attendance requests on Sprout Mobile! Just like when we apply for the undertime application on the Sprout HR website, you can now use your mobile phone to apply for Undertime through the My Request feature on the home screen of your mobile app.
Please note that like with the undertime application on Sprout HR, this only serves as official documentation that an employee was unable to complete their required hours to work and as such, this will not resolve any undertime incurred for the day. Timesheet Lock
Just like on Sprout HR, the Timesheet Lock will be applicable on the Sprout Mobile app and will let you know if you can file an Undertime request on dates. Just remember that the timesheet is locked in the payroll period that is being processed for salary disbursement. The golden rule of Timesheet Lock is to prevent anyone from filing requests on dates for which the payroll is being processed.
Company Policy
Each company has its own company policies for applications, attendance, and others. For Undertime, we have policies for advance and late filing, minimum minutes and maximum minutes that are allowed to be filed, and how the days are being counted (calendar or working days). The same policies are applicable whether you apply on the web app or the mobile app.
Filing Undertime Applications
Step 1: Log in to your Sprout HR mobile app and click My Requests on your home screen.
Step 2: On your My Requests page, select Undertime.
Step 3: Select the date for the Undertime.
Step 4: Fill out the application form with the Time From and Time To, and Reason.
Step 5: The application request can be reviewed on the Undertime Summary page. When done, submit the application by clicking Submit Application.
Your UT application will also be reflected on the Sprout HR website.
Notes:
- The user can select more than one day on the My Requests calendar based on the company policies set.
- For employees, you may reach out to your HR administrator for the current policies set for your company.
