How to Post BIR 2316 in Sprout HR

We have a new update in Sprout HR! Did you know that the BIR 2316 can be downloaded in Sprout HR by the employees? With this enhanced feature, Payroll Admins will no longer download the BIR 2316 and send it to the employees manually. 

So, how can you download this in HR and what does it look like?

First, you need to make sure that the BIR 2316 is Posted in Sprout Payroll. This is a requirement before it appears in Sprout HR. Check this out: How To Generate BIR Form 2316 from Sprout Payroll

Once done, the employees may log in to their Sprout HR.

1. Go to My Stuff Panel

2. Click Show Details

3. Click the Download button corresponding to BIR 2316. A PDF will be downloaded.

4. If 2316 is not yet posted in Payroll, an error will occur if the employee tries to download the report.
