A Final Pay payroll type is an additional payroll run that is usually used by payroll admins if there are employees who are for last pay processing. In the KB article, Different Payroll Types in Sprout Payroll, we’ve discussed the Final Pay and Final Pay-Part Time payroll run type.
However, you might wonder how to record manually computed final pay in Sprout Payroll?
The answer is that you can use the payroll run type Adjustment Run!
The Adjustment Run is an additional payroll used when processing payroll adjustments or any miscellaneous payroll. It is not a regular or normal type of payroll.
Basically, you just have to input the amount reflected in your manual computation, and then, for the government contribution and tax set up, you may just set all to "NO."
Then, you will have to upload all payroll items included on your manual computation such as Basic, SSS/PHIC/HDMF, W/tax etc.
Either via Adjustments Tab:
Or, via Upload Adjustment Template.
