You may be wondering why, even though the time entries are matched to your shift schedule, you have incurred undertime minutes in the attendance.
In this article, the following factors are listed below as to why it is occurring:
1. The plotted break start and end on the default schedule are outside of their shift which caused the discrepancies.
In the below example, the break hours are incorrect as it is from 11:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The hours are outside the shift hours.
This should be at 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM.
2. The tagging of A.M. or P.M. on the break hours is incorrect.
In the below example, the break hours are incorrect as it is from 12:00 AM to 01:00 PM. This should be at 12:00 PM instead of 12:00 AM.
Here's what to do in order to correct the schedules:
1. For the past schedules, submit a Schedule Adjustment (either filed by the employee or set by the manager/admin) to correct the breaks and have them fall within their shift schedule.
