On Sprout Insight, you may now be able to apply different filters on the Overtime Dashboard in order to generate different types of data. Have you ever wondered how this can be done? Let's take a look at the steps below:
By Overtime per Department
- From Filters, select Department. Here, you may be able to choose one or more departments from Sprout HR.
- To reset the data back to default, simply click on the eraser icon above the Department filter.
Note: To select multiple values in the Filters, hold the Control (CTRL) key and then click on the desired values.
By Overtime Cost and Total Hours per Year, Quarter, Month
- From the Overtime by Year, Quarter, Month tile, click on one or more desired year value.
- To reset the data back to default, re-click the Overtime by Year, Quarter, Month tile.
- Hover the mouse to any value in the tile to see the actual and complete data.
Note: To select multiple values, hold the Control (CTRL) key then click on the desired values.
By Overtime per Department per Cost Center
- From Filters, click Department before selecting one or more values.
- From Filters, click Cost Center before selecting one or more values.
- To reset the data back to its default, click on the eraser icon above the Department followed by the Cost Center.
Note: To select multiple values in the Filters, hold the Control (CTRL) key then click on the desired values.
By Overtime by Transaction
- From the Overtime by Transaction tile, click on one or more desired payroll value.

To reset the data back to default, re-click the Overtime by Transaction tile.

Hover the mouse to any value in the Tile to see the actual and complete data.

Navigate the payroll value by clicking on the arrow in the upper-right portion of the tile.
