Traditionally, employees have been responsible for submitting their own leave requests, requiring valuable time and effort. This article delves into the concept of filing leave applications on behalf of employees by the Admin or Manager Dashboard.
Once the employee has missing logs in the Resolution Center, an Admin or Immediate Supervisor may file an attendance application on behalf of the employee. One application is the Leave Application. Here's the step-by-step process on how to file this for the employee:
1. Go to the Resolution Center Page or Widget:
2. Click the pencil icon and select Leave in the Activity. This will route you to the Leave Application page for the employee.
3. Select the necessary Leave Type, Date, and whether this is a whole day or half-day leave. Input the Reason then attach a file if necessary.
4. Click Apply. You should get a confirmation that it has been successful.
When you revisit the Resolution Center page, the discrepancy on logs will go into the Resolved portion of the page:
Important reminders:
1. Since the Admin and Immediate Supervisors are selecting a specific date for each missing log, do take note that reselecting dates when filing a Leave Application on behalf of the employee is not available.
2. Late filing policy still applies to Admin and Immediate Supervisors
3. Once you click the Ignore button, you can no longer file any attendance application via Resolution Center and it will no longer appear on the page but the employee still has missing logs:
4. The Immediate Supervisor can only view the missing logs of the employees directly reporting to them but users with Admin access can view the discrepancies of all employees.
5. Filing on behalf of the employee is automatically approved and would not undergo further approval.
