Before doing anything else on payroll, in fact, before doing anything at all, it seems only natural that the first step to using an account is to set-up that account. As such, after your first log in to payroll, and clicking the Continue to Sprout Payroll button, you are now ready to setup your company profile.
1. Create the company profile by clicking on the Setup tab, selecting Company and then Profile from the drop-down lists that appear.
2. This will launch the Company Profile screen. Simply fill out the form with your company details and payroll policies. There are a few required fields that make the bare minimum for a company set up, but to leverage the full might of Sprout Payroll, fill out all the fields. 3. Once you have filled out all the fields on this page, your company profile is
setup. Simply click the Save button to complete your company profile setup:
4. You will see a confirmation box confirming that your details have been saved to the system:
Once you click the OK button, you will be able to navigate back to the home screen or click the Employees tab to begin setting up your employee details.
Et voila! You have just set up your company profile in Sprout Payroll, and completed your first step towards payroll nirvana!
