You may have noticed that Sprout has been doing a lot around data privacy and security - from our email communications, content in Sprout Tribe, and events we’ve held. This is because your data security is our topmost priority.
We’ve added additional measures to make sure that only you are able to access your account. CAPTCHA rules out the possibility of a computer program log-in from excessive login attempts.
We've set a total of 5 logins failed attempts before an account locks out with the CAPTCHA appearing on your third try. When your account gets locked, the admin user with edit access to the Access Level portion of the Employee Profile can unlock the account from the user's profile under Access Level.
Once the account is unlocked, an email is sent to the employee whose account was locked containing a PIN code and link where he/she can change his/her password.
After providing the correct information, the user will now be able to use the locked account using the new password.
- Key in your Username
- Enter the PIN from the email
- Enter your new desired password
- Re-Enter your new desired password
- Click Submit, then a notification would appear if it's successful
- Then click, Go Back to Login
- Log in with your username and your new password
