In certain situations, administrators may need to manually add biologs to the Sprout system when an employee lacks logs due to biometric device malfunction or other reasons. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
Step 1: Go to the Navigation toolbar and select "Attendance Manager" under the "Administration Tools" tab from the dropdown list. You may also refer to the steps discussed in How to View Biologs in the New Attendance Manager Page and How To Use The Filters in the Sidebar
Step 2: You'll be redirected to the Attendance Manager page. Look for the "Add Attendance Logs" button, and click it.
Step 3: A pop-up box will appear. In this pop-up modal, follow these steps to fill out the attendance log details:
- Select Employee: Click the dropdown to choose an Employee (use filters from the sidebar or the search function).
- Select Date: Use the calendar date picker or manually input the date in the DD/MM/YYYY format.
Select Time: Use the time picker or manually input the time in the HH:MM AM/PM format. - Select Log Mode: Tick the radio button for either IN or OUT.
Step 4: If the 'Project Tagging' feature is enabled and you have selected an IN log mode, you can tag the log to a specific project.
- Click the Project dropdown to see all projects assigned to the selected Employee.
- Choose the relevant project from the dropdown list (only one project can be selected).
- To remove a project tag, click the trash bin icon.
Step 5: Once all the required details are filled in, the 'Save' button will become enabled. Click it and confirm the action in the confirmation message. A notification will appear once the attendance log is successfully added and saved.
Note: Adding biologs during the Timesheet Lock period will not proceed, and the ‘Save’ button will remain disabled (Timesheet Locking)
