In this new version, we have streamlined attendance management by eliminating the need for manual Excel file downloads and uploads. With the new "Batch Add" function, administrators can effortlessly input attendance logs for multiple employees without the inconvenience of navigating away from the page.
- The users can now search for employees and/or their corresponding employee IDs directly on the Batch Add page, eliminating the need for separate searches on other pages. They can filter their search based on Company, department, and location, further simplifying the process.
- This page includes date and time pickers, making it more convenient for users to select the desired dates and log times.
- To enhance ease of use, the new page enables users to copy rows with employee names and dates, requiring them to provide only the log time and log mode. This streamlines the process and reduces the risk of errors.
- The real-time validations in the new process prevent users from submitting incorrect or incomplete data, providing instant feedback on any issues encountered during the data entry.
- The new page also includes a banner displaying the count of attendance logs being uploaded, giving the users better visibility and control over the data they are adding.
- If the Project Tagging feature is enabled, users can now manage projects, which was not possible in the old process.
Step 1: Go to the Navigation toolbar and select "Attendance Manager" under the "Administration Tools" tab from the dropdown list. You may also refer to the steps discussed in the following articles:

Step 2: You'll be redirected to the Attendance Manager page. Look for the "Batch Add" from the left panel menu, click it, and the Batch Add form will appear within the page.
Step 3: Follow these steps to fill out the attendance logs details:
- Select Employee: Click the dropdown to choose an Employee. You can also use the search box within the dropdown function.
- Select Date: Use the calendar date picker or manually input the date in the DD/MM/YYYY format.
- Select Time: Use the time picker or manually input the time in the HH:MM AM/PM format.
- Select Log Mode: Tick the radio button for either IN or OUT.
- Select a Project: If the 'Project Tagging' feature is enabled and you have selected an IN log mode, click the Project dropdown to see all projects assigned to the selected Employee, and choose the relevant project from the dropdown list (only one project can be selected).
Step 4: Add more rows
- Click the copy icon and it will replicate the selected Employee’s name and Date that you initially added. All that’s left for you to do is to supply the Time and Log mode which means less input on your end.
- Click the add icon and it will insert new empty row/s. Repeat Step 3 to populate the row.
- If you want to remove a log entry, click the minus icon and it will instantly remove the empty row. If the row has inputs, you will expect a confirmation message as shown below:
Or you can click the reset button to start all over.
Step 5: Once all the required details are filled, click the 'Save Details' button and click “Yes, Save” button in the confirmation message to proceed. A notification will appear once the attendance logs are successfully added and saved in the Attendance Logs list.
Note: Adding biologs during the Timesheet Lock period will not proceed, and the ‘Save’ button will remain disabled (Timesheet Locking)
