Work Places are assigned to employees on their Sprout HR profiles and are used mainly to set up location-based holiday plans. Here's how to set up those locations for proper tagging in the system.
1. Click the Maintenance tab and select Work Place from the drop-down list that appears.
2. Type in a location name, code, longitude and latitude, as well as the desired radius for geofencing.
3. Click the Add Location button.
4. Once done, a green notification would pop-up on the upper right corner of the screen, signaling that the location has been successfully added. This can be verified by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.
We do not recommend deleting workplaces. If you really need to, make sure employees assigned to these locations are transferred to new or existing workplaces first before deleting.
