After creating templates for easy reference via the Maintenance tab on your dashboard (If you haven't read about how to do this yet, you should! (Creating Form Templates: A Blueprint for the Easy File and the Easy Life), it is time to test their mettle and use them for actual office paperwork. How do you retrieve the form templates you've made?
Here's how:
1. On the Administration Tools tab, click Form Generator from the drop-down list that appears.
2. Select the template you need to use under the Form Type dropdown list, and then select the Company, Department, and Employee. Input the Reason, as necessary.
3. Click Generate and the system will automatically download the file based on your selected template, employee, and reason.
4. The file that downloads into your PC is ready for printing. However, should you wish to make changes on the file, perhaps an extra phrase or two, then you can do so as you wish.
Generating form templates is as easy as making them. Just as well, it would be pointless knowing how to make them without knowing how to retrieve them from the system for practical use.
