After setting up the company profile and importing the employee data into the system, you will also need to setup the OT rates.
This can be accessed via the Setup tab, by selecting payroll and clicking OT Rates from the drop-down list that appears.
The Ordinary and Rest Day rows (first two rows on the table) already have the mandatory rates by default. You can edit these and the other holiday and rest day rates by clicking on the "edit" link beside each type.
However, check and make sure that the specific OT Rates are checked on the Company Profile so you can add /edit these after. Without checking the boxes on all these different types of Overtimes, you will be unable to edit the respective rates for these on the table.
Once done, you can now edit the OT Rates. Please note again that unchecked OT Rate types cannot be edited on the OT Table.
You can also add new OT tables by clicking the Add button on the table. This means you can choose which OT table to assign to employees as seen on their profiles. YOu can have different OT rates for every different type of
We do not recommend deleting tables as much as possible in order to keep an accurate history of the account.
You have just set up your employees in Payroll Pie, and completed your third step towards payroll nirvana!
