BIR Form 2316: Substitute Filing (E-Signature)

Background

BIR 2316 of the employees who get their earnings on pure compensation or employer can be filed by the Authorized representative on the company. Representative’s signature must reflect on the report.

Affixing one's signature can be a tedious task especially for companies who have hundreds of employees.

What’s New?

The substitute filing option to attach the e-signature of the authorized representative of the company can now be seen in Sprout Payroll’s 2316 Page.

If the box is checked, and the user prints the BIR Form 2316, the E-Signature will also be shown on Item 55.

Note: 2316 Item 51 and Item 53 signatures are the same.
