- New tabs in Sprout HR Employee Profile

The current Payroll Information tab contains all fields from the Employee Profile in Payroll that were not in HR before such as:
- Salary History Tab (former Salary)

Shows Synced Salary (Basic Salary and De Minimis)

Allows users to add other salary info like Allowances and Raise information- but do note that this information does not sync to Sprout Payroll
- Adding and Updating Employee Information when Syncing is ON

Ensure that you have proper access level settings for payroll processors in Sprout HR

Editing and Adding Employees including Bulk Upload is disabled in Sprout Payroll

All changes (editing or adding an Employee) in the employee profile will now be done in Sprout HR and will automatically sync with Sprout Payroll

Bulk Upload for Adding and Editing Employees in HR - Adding and Editing employees in bulk will now all be done in HR. Now, downloading the template can be done in 2 ways:

Bulk Add Template - We have added a way for users to download a blank template for users that need to add employee information so that users won’t have to download the entire list of employee data. Since this does not include employee information, downloading this template will be a direct download

Bulk Edit Template - The template in which all employee information exists and can be used to mass edit information. Since this includes all information of existing employees, downloading this template would have to go through a two-step authentication process

- How to know when the employee profile is syncing

Information box in Sprout HR and Payroll profiles will be seen to know that the employee profile is syncing in both modules

There will be timestamps in the bottom of the employee profile to let the users know when the last change was made and synced with Sprout Payroll
- Alerts for changes in the Profile that will affect payroll

Before saving changes in the employee profile in Sprout HR, the user will be prompted if there are changes that will affect payroll.

After a payroll processor sets up a new Payroll Run, the user will be able to download Employee Information Updates.

Employee Information Updates will include an update to the employee information that affects payroll.

An employee will be included in the Employee Information Updates Report if Sprout Payroll identifies that there are changes in the Payroll information from the previous payroll run to the newly created payroll run.

Example: Last Payroll Run, John’s Basic Salary is P15,000.00. Then the HR manager updated his Basic Salary to P18,000.00. So when the payroll processor creates a new payroll run and downloads the Employee Information Update, John will be included in the report because his Basic Salary from the last payroll run and the new payroll run is different.
