Changing the employment status of a user in Sprout HR will also take effect on the same user’s employment status in Sprout Payroll. This means that you won’t have to worry about checking if both modules have the same employment statuses for users before running payroll. This will be for changes in the employment status from Sprout HR moving forward from 29th of May.
Take note that this will be one-way syncing, which means that only the changes from Sprout HR will reflect in Sprout Payroll— changes from Sprout Payroll to Sprout HR will not.
For now, admins will still be able to change the employment status in Sprout Payroll after the status is synced from HR.

**The syncing of employee's status would be based on the following:
- Payroll Pie ID
- Payroll Pie Database
- TIN
- Birth Date
Make sure these details are correct for both Sprout HR and Sprout Payroll.
