Can I Move an Employee to Another Company?

Generally speaking, the Work Information Tab has a dropdown list of Companies created in one URL. 

If your Sprout HR and Payroll is not synced or linked, there is an option to change the Company of an employee. Kindly look into the sample below: 

With this, you can easily select a new company for the employee. 

However, this option is not available for Synced accounts since there is a Payroll Account linked to the HR account. Please see the sample below: 

What if an employee needs to be transferred to another company? What are the things to be considered? Transferring an employee to another company is like re-hiring him to the same company. 

Before creating the profile for the new company, please check the following details in the old profile: 

1. Ensure that the Government Numbers in the old profile of the employee such as SSS, Philhealth, HDMF, and TIN, are changed into dummy numbers to avoid any error when creating the profile for the new company. 

2. You can use a new Biometric ID but if you wish to transfer the logs from the old company to the new one, you may use the same Biometric ID but first, the old profile should be changed to a dummy ID. With this, all his Certificate of Attendance applications will also be carried over to the new company. 

3. Other Attendance Applications will not be carried over since you cannot use the same System ID when creating any profile. This ID is system generated and also grayed out in the profile.
