Whenever a filed OB Application has been approved, an email notification will be sent to the employee. With Sprout HR, the content of this email can be customized the way you want it to be. If you want to know how this is done, see the steps in action below:
1. Under the Maintenance tab, select Email Templates from the drop-down list that appears.
2. Select Official Business and OB Approved on the first and second row of headers, respectively.
3. Notice that there is a default email template for OB Approved. If you want to change it, simply select all then delete.
4. Compose your desired email notification for approved OB applications to be sent to the employees who filed an OB request. You are free to apply any format that you want. Also, in any part of your email, you may insert fields which will display the actual details of the filed and approved OB application. To do so, click on the drop-down, select from the list of fields, then click Insert.
5. Once you are done customizing your template for approved OB application notification, click the Save button.
Once the new template is saved, the notifications received by the employees for their approved OB applications will look like this:
