Upon the release of this new feature, the Announcement Module will be available under the Administration Tools > Communications.
Note: This submenu is hidden if your access is not an Admin. This is configurable in Maintenance > Access Levels
On this page, Admins should be able to see:
- Title: A preview of the informative header to give the recipients a sense of what the content is about, defined by the User
- Message: A preview of the content/body of the Announcement
- Sent By: Indicates the User of who posted the Announcement
- Sent Through: For now, the available channel is only via Banner
- Date Created: Indicates the date when the Announcement was posted
- Start Date: Indicates the start of when the Announcement is going to be posted in the banner
- End Date: Indicates the last day of when the Announcement is shown in the banner
- Status:
- Blank - Expired
- Active - Within the date range
- Scheduled - Still to be posted based on the start date
- Canceled - Scheduled Announcement but was canceled by the Admin before the start date
- Pagination for Users to skip through pages
- The number of items displayed in a list can be limited to either 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50
- Default sorting is from newest to oldest when the Announcement was posted
