How To Save Announcement as A Draft
This functionality will enable Authorized Users to compose an Announcement and decide whether to post it now or later. Having this functionality allows you to apply changes and have it reviewed by your peers before it gets published.
Step 1: Navigate to the Announcement page.
Step 2: Click the “Post an Announcement” button,
and you will be redirected to the Post an Announcement page.
Step 3: The “Save as Draft” button will be enabled once these are filled out: Title, Start date, End date, Time start, and Time end. Once all necessary information is provided, you can now click the “Save as Draft” button.
A confirmation message will be displayed.
Step 4: Click the “Yes please!” button to proceed.
This will be saved under the Drafts Tab in the Announcements List Page.
By clicking anywhere within the row of the drafted Announcement will open a modal that will display its content and an option to edit it anytime.
How to Edit Posted Announcements
We enabled the editing of posted Announcements as long as the status is Scheduled.
Step 1: Navigate to the Announcement page.
Step 2: Click the ellipsis on the row of the Announcement you want to edit.
Step 3: Click the “Update Details” option. And you will be led to the Announcement form to proceed with editing.
