During the onboarding of Sprout HR, you may recall being asked by our implementers if your company would opt to have a grace period policy. If yes, this is set up as a company setting on your Sprout HR account. This, however, does not apply to all employees but only to those who are tagged as Monthly paid under the Payroll Type.
Now, we have enhanced the grace period options so that it can be applied to employees tagged as “Hourly” or “Daily” in their Payroll type in their employee profile.
We have implemented this as a system company policy, which means you can have this turned on or off by sending a Change Request Form to experts@sprout.ph. When this is rolled out, the default setting will be off.
Please take note that for now, this will be applicable to employees with a Shift Type “Normal Shift.” We’ll be applying this to other shift types soon. Stay tuned!
