If you are reading this article, I would assume that you have read our KB Article on how to generate Attendance Reports for your employees.
On the said article, users can download an excel report from the system that reflects two different tabs namely:
- The Summary Tab
This tab reflects the totality of all the number rendered workdays of an Employee, including premiums (Rest Day and Holiday Work if worked) and undertimes as well as Absences according to the date range selected. Below is an example for your reference: - The Detailed Tab
This tab reflects the number of days an employee is present/absent according to the date range as well as the breakdown of the lates, undertimes, total hours and total hours worked daily.
In addition to the above information, the Payroll is ultimately basing its computations on the timekeeping data from the Summary tab while the Detailed tab (or more detailed tab) is just really for the user to see the attendance details per day.
The Detailed Tab seems complete but there is something missing, don’t you think? You guessed it right! It only shows the basic attendance details per day but not the breakdown of premiums per day.
The statement above will surely leave us this question, how will users be able to generate the breakdown of premiums per day?
Downloading the Attendance Report would be a little hassle as you have to go through each downloaded excel file just to get the premiums earned of the employee per day.
No worries, Sprout HR also has the More Detailed Attendance Report! The said report also has the Summary Tab but the difference is, the Detailed Tab can also reflect the breakdown of all the hours worked by the Employee regardless if it is a Normal Working Day, Rest Day or a Holiday.
