Sprout's bulk upload feature enables users the capacity to upload multiple overtime applications in one go. As convenient as it sounds, users have to ensure that all information inputted follows the template's prescribed format. Otherwise, the file would not successfully go through and all applications entered will not reflect as desired on Sprout HR.
To ensure that all mass overtime applications will reflect accurately on Sprout HR, it would be best to double check the following information:
(1) Employee ID
- The employee ID should already be existing. Before uploading the template, make sure the employee ID is correct and already pre-existing in the system.
- Format should always be General.
(2) First Name
- When entering the employee's first name, make sure that there are no misspellings and the name inputted in the template matches the one on the employee's profile.
- Format should always be General.
(3) Last Name
- When entering the employee's last name, make sure that there are no misspellings and the name inputted in the template matches the one on the employee's profile.
- Format should always be General.
(4) Shift Date
- Date format should always follow the two-digit month/two-digit day/four-digit year format (mm/dd/yyyy).
- Format should always be Custom.
(5) Location
- Format should always be General.
(6) Shift From/To
- Shift from and to should always follow this specific format: HH:mm am/pm (hours:minutes am/pm).
- Format should always be Time.
(7) OT Classification
- OT Classification should always be chosen from the drop-down menu. There are only two (2) options: Normal and Early.
- Format should always be General.
(8) Overtime Start/End
- Overtime start and end should always follow this specific format: HH:mm am/pm (hours:minutes am/pm).
- Format should always be Time.
I hope this helps!
