The 13th-month pay computation in Sprout Payroll is aligned with the 13th-month settings in Sprout. The computation for the 13th month is as follows: (Basic Salary + Adjustments selected from the 13th month options - Tardiness) / 12. For reference, you may check the 13th month setting. How to Check the 13th Month Pay Settings . In case you have other expected computations based on your local labor laws and employment contracts the 13th month pay can be deactivated from the company setting:
1. Go to Set up > Company then Profile > Payroll computation
2. Under Payroll computation > Final Pay computation, tick the "No" under Include 13th Month Pay?
Please note that deactivating the 13th month from the Final Pay setting should be done first before creating the Final Pay run. In case the Final run was created before deactivating the 13th month from the setting, you need to refresh the Payroll to remove the 13th month.
