When generating an attendance report for the employees who are on Flexible per Week schedule type, it is normal when the report shows dates which are not exactly the same with that of the selected the date range. So how does it work then?
Flexible per Week employees are required to complete one week (Sunday to Saturday) and this is where the system bases its computation of undertime minutes if the required hours were not met. Hence, the attendance report also works the same way for these employees. It will only reflect the dates within a completed week.
For instance, if you selected May 1 to May 15, 2018, it will not display all the dates as selected. Instead, it will only display the highlighted dates below:
Since the week wherein the selected Date From (which is 05/01/2018) has already been completed, the whole week will be displayed in the report. On the other hand, since the week wherein the selected Date From (which is 05/01/2018) hasn't been completed yet (based on the selected date range - because it does not yet include May 16-19), then that whole week will not yet be included in the report.
On Sprout Payroll, these dates generated in Sprout HR attendance report will also be the basis when processing. If for example, your cut-off is from May 1-15, the payroll will be based on April 28 to May 12. Then, on the next cut-off (May 16-31), the payroll will be based on May 13 to May 26. It all pans out eventually.
There's no need to be alarmed if the date range you selected is different from the date in payroll processing for employees on Flexi per Week!
