Recently, our Product and Development Team deployed a new feature that will allow the Admin to tag the new schedule of the employee for a specific date. It's called Date Tagging of Schedule! With this, changing the default schedule in the Employee Profile would have some changes as well.
If you need to change the New Default Schedule of an employee, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Employee Profile > Work Schedule. Then, click Change Schedule.
2. Select New Default Schedule in Change Schedule As dropdown.
3. Select the details for the new schedule.
- Effectivity Date - select the date when will this schedule be effective.
- Schedule Type - select which schedule type is applicable for the new schedule of the employee. Here's a reference: What Are the Different Schedule Types?
- Work Week - choose whether the schedule is Compressed or Uncompressed. if the box is highlighted in blue, this means it is selected. Check this out for more information: Compressed Work Week--How Does It Work?
- Working Hours including break - input how many hours would the employee need to render work within the day including the break. Each Schedule Type has a recommendation (just below the box) of the minimum or maximum hours that you can set for each type.
4. Once done, click Set Schedule.
5. Input the corresponding new schedule of the employee, mark the Rest Day, and tick the box if the employee has no Break.
6. Check all the information entered. Then, click Save. A prompt will pop-up confirming that the changes have been saved successfully. Click OK.
Reminder:
You can only change the Default Schedule for the Current and Future Dates. Past attendance will not be affected and past dates are greyed out.
That's it! Easy, right? Once you're done, the system will automatically route you to the Employee Profile. You may check the past and upcoming schedules, here's how: Schedule Date-Tagging: How to View the Past and Upcoming Schedule
