As we all know, the My Stuff widget in Sprout HR plays a big role in Sprout HR as it has a lot of functions to offer that is really helpful for all users. These include allowing the users to view their pending requests, filing applications, viewing their leave credits, payroll details, and also, viewing their Stats which includes the Overtime.
Below are some points to remember when checking the Overtime minutes that reflect in the My Stuff widget Stats:
- Data shown in the My Stuff widget Stats refreshes every month for easier reference.
- Overtime minutes which include the rendered Normal OT and Early OT display the total number of minutes of all approved overtime applications of an employee for the month.
- This also includes all rendered work during the holidays for the month but excluding rendered work during rest days.
- Approved Compensatory Time Off (CTO) Overtime does not reflect here
- Unfiled Overtime applications also do not appear here
Since as mentioned, the stats shown under My Stuff are based on the accumulated overtime minutes of the employee for the month, you would notice that the data reflecting now will no longer appear in the next coming month. However, should you wish to view/generate the Overtime Stats from a different month coverage or on a specific date range, you may opt to generate the Overtime Report instead. As a refresher, you may look on to this article for more information: How to Generate an Overtime Report.
Although, please do note that the Overtime Report isn't available to all users and would still depend on their Access Level.
