Did you know that you can add the Dependents of the employees in Sprout HR? The Dependents tab is available in the Employee Profile.
Make sure that you have access to view, add, edit, and delete the Dependents of the employees. Go to Maintenance > Access Level > Select your Level > Employee Page Access:
If you do not have access to the Access Level, you may ask another Admin who has access to it to enable your access in the Access Level module.
Once you have access to it, you may already add the dependents of the employees. Follow the steps below:
Via Employee Profile
1. Go to Employee Profile (Ensure that you have access to another employee's profile in Access Level)
2. Go to the Dependents tab
3. Click Add Dependents
4. Enter the details of the dependents
5. Click the Save button at the bottom of the profile
6. Wait for the confirmation banner to appear to confirm if the changes were successfully saved
Via Bulk Add/Edit Template
1. Go to Administration Tools (You must have access to the Bulk Upload module. To check the access, go to Maintenance > Access Level > select your level > Navigation Access > Bulk Upload)
2. Click Bulk Upload
3. Go to Employee Information then select the Company you wish to add employees for (Step 1):
4. On Step 2 in the Bulk upload, select add new employees
- A template will be downloaded automatically
5. Go to the Dependents sheet on the template
- If you downloaded the Bulk Add Template, the Dependents sheet is empty
6. Add the details as necessary.
Note: The Employee ID is intended for the employee you are adding the dependents for.
7. Save the template and upload it in Sprout HR
