One of the pain points that companies identify is inefficient document management. In this age of information, a lot of companies still store private information on paper. This can lead to increase in paperwork, which can be difficult to handle in the long run. In addition, paperwork is vulnerable to loss and theft. It's a good thing then that Sprout HR can address all of these concerns. On the Employee Profile, private employee information can easily be managed and edited.
One of the sections on the Employee Profile is the Visa tab. Most of the time, visas are granted to people who work overseas for a select amount of time for company business. Under the Employee Profile, an employee's Visa can easily be added.
On this section, you can specify the following: (1) Visa Type (2) Visa Number (3) Issue Date (4) Expiration Date (5) Place of Issue, and (6) Notes.
There are 3 visa types on Sprout HR:
(1) Expat Visa: intended for those who are coming temporarily to another country for work or retirement; unlike the working visa, expat visa allows multiple entries and indefinite stay
(2) Tourist Visa: non-immigrant visa; intended for people who wish to go to other countries for business, leisure, or for a combination of both purposes (necessary if the stay exceeds 30 days)
(3) Working Visa: intended for those who want to enter other countries specifically for employment lasting a fixed period of time, and are not considered permanent
I hope this information helps!
